I received the order very quickly. Grateful for that! However, the quality of these UV Pheasant tails are very poor quality. Some are so “busted up” damaged wise that half of the feathers are basically useless for tying pheasant tail nymphs. These are by far the worst quality pheasant tails that I have ever seen. Large gaps, busted bard tips thinned areas - like a hunter shot the bird hitting the tail and threw the bird in the back of his vest. I’m hoping that this is a one time thing, because I absolutely love the kingfisher blue color. Sometimes, when I get internet orders, I get the “left over crap” that wouldn’t sell in the store. I’m tying on a professional level and suppling my Red Cross Resiliency Fly Fishing Group with all of their flies. At times, I also supply some of the FIPS Mouche competitors, local guides, and local competitors here in Italy. I would greatly appreciate high quality feathers. Otherwise, thanks very much for your great service, very much appreciated!
